For quite some time it has been a buyer’s market. Conditions are still great for buyer’s and the interest rates continue to remain attractive even though the rates are starting to climb. There is a shift in the market and it is also a great time to be a seller. This time of year the market tends to pick up and in some price points I am seeing a ton of activity. There are certain price ranges such as the $100,000 – $150,000 that inventory availability is low and when homes in this price range hit the market they are moving quickly. Good news for sellers is if you have been thinking about selling now might be the perfect time. If you are a buyer keep in mind that inventory levels are low so be ready to make an offer if you find a home because it might not be on the market long and losing a home you really want can be disappointing.
